How Medical Marijuana Has Opened My Eyes To The Importance Of Food Choices

How Medical Marijuana Has Opened My Eyes To The Importance Of Food Choices

So Im on medical marijuana for PTSD.
Im on a micro dose.
I take 2 pills a day.
Sometimes I take a pill in the morning and NOTHING happens, other times I take a pill in the morning and Im high as a kite.
I spoke to the manufacturer of the pills and they told me that it depends on the FOOD I EAT!

 This is what they said:
I would suggest talking with your doctor about the binding of THC molecules to fatty acids and how eating something before using mj, affects your reaction; what was in your stomach/digestive system has an effect, as THC breaks down differently in various substances.
 Interesting!!!

When I first started the process of medical marijuana I read that if you do MJ with a glass of lemonade or if you chew a black peppercorn it could cause the substances in both to mellow out the MJ .

This Everyday Household Item Could Counteract Your Cannabis-Induced Paranoia

and

Will lemon negate the benefits of cannabis?

This is all due to TERPENES in all fruits and vegetables.

Terpenes are essential oils that enhance your "high" from cannabis and hold numerous medical benefits. Terpenes are transforming our understanding of cannabis.

So If oils in everyday foods can affect your marijuana experience that much, think about how everything else you eat can affect you mentally and emotionally.

Lets discuss a few of them..

Grapefruit Juice

Grapefruit and its juice can make any psychotropic medication or anesthesia and some painkillers work deeper, prolonging their effects

Omega3s

Omega 3 fatty acids have been talked about for years now are great for mood and heart and Cholesterol.  Omega 3s are in FISH, some nuts and flax seed.
Evolutionary science tells us that humans came from the sea, that we were meant to eat FISH, fish was designed for humans to eat. Our bodies are 90% water, we are drawn to the sea. The ocean calms us, renews us, refreshes us and feeds us.
The ocean and the Omega3s in fish alter our moods and act as natural antidepressants

On the other hand people who eat a diet high in harmful TRANSFAT are significantly more unhappy and sick.

Salmon contains OMEGA 3s
Tilapia contains mostly Omega 6s

Omega 3s reduce INFLAMMATION, Omega 6s and Transfats, increase it.

Rice and GABA

If you cook brown rice in a certain way, it increases the amount of GABA in it. GABA is
gamma-Aminobutyric acid, Its the chemical your body produces when you take things like Xanax, Valium and Klonopin. So if you are already on those types of Benzos, you should watch how much rice you eat

Black Pepper

Black Pepper cannot only mellow out a marijuana high but can increase the effects of the allergy med, Zyrtec, which can make people deeply depressed while on it.

So always research all foods you eat while you are on psychotropic meds

And as a matter of fact all drugs too, because marijuana doesnt go well with Tramadol at all,

If your dispensary doesnt understand Terpines, move on.

Be safe not sorry,.
