InstantPot, Target, Starbucks, Poshmark, Whole Foods and Roombas - The Stepford Wife Toolkit.
InstantPot, Target, Starbucks, Poshmark, Whole Foods and Roombas
The Stepford Wife Toolkit.
Go on YouTube and look up any Lifestyle Influencer.
They all have the same hair, same face, same car, same house, same kids, same advertisements, same vacations, same interests,
SAME EVERYTHING!
They dole out the exact same advice and recipes and cleaning advice and give their kids the exact same names, and parrot each other on everything.
They all have Instant Pots, Air Fryers and a Roomba.
They all get in their SUVs and drive thru Starbucks to grab a Latte before swinging by Target and Whole Foods.
They all sell their stuff on Poshmark and then post their hauls on Instagram.
Once or twice a year they post stories about their trips to Disney or Universal.
They dress their kids all alike.
They all have the same personality and sigh and complain about things the exact same way.
They hem and haw about things their husband does, using the exact same verbiage....
They have all become Stepford Wives.
People need to understand that most of these influencers started on YouTube because they wanted the YouTube bucks and lifestyle, but they have no real advice, so they just copy off of each other.
What that means is that their advice is not coming from personal experience or introspection, but from a place of fraud and plaigiarism. Its advice that isn't tailored to them or you, but for the influencer it originally came from.
All women are NOT alike, and neither should the advice they are given.
So, these influencers start out on false premises and to keep the business going they keep copying other influencers advice and ideas to project the image of perfection to keep selling their brand.
Eventually their husbands quit their jobs and stay home to watch the kids so the influencer can "Influence" and talk to advertisers and sponsors and then the problems in the marriage start to surface and then they end up hiding the truth and then sooner or later someone cheats and the marriage falls apart.
Or in a few years one of the kids is in the news for getting arrested or for drugs or getting pregnant etc. etc. etc.
Then, like Rachel Hollis, they end up with a subreddit about them to expose the lies that now have been unearthed.
Then all the watchers are all upset in unison.
So, the Influencers all copy each other
and
The watchers all copy each other's anger in the Influencer selling them lies.
So, both sides have become STEPFORD WIVES, one who hawks ideas and the other who hawks anger.
Neither side is being authentic...
