How Poor People Become Or Stay Conservatives

So I watch a lot of YouTube.

I discovered a channel that I initially loved, but now have grown to totally despise.

Its a Christian family, Grandma, Daughter and her hubby and kids

They were poor growing up. Partly because Grandma didnt get an education and relied on her hubby who left her....The daughter went off to college on a scholarship and the Grandmother made her come home. So she never went to college.

Their whole Schtick is saving money.

You would think they would want their kids to be better than them, to not have to struggle.

To not rely on canned veggies and meat from the clearance aisle.

Youd think theyd WANT and encourage their kids to go to college, get an education and a better life. 

NO!

They, instead, speak of education, in a disdainful tone.

They also are hateful about After School Activities.

They keep pulling their kids out of high school to home school and then discouraging college.

The kids are, one by one coming home, not going to college and instead, working Hospitality jobs.

Their mother encourages this. 

If you watch it, its obvious Grandma is extremely Self Righteous, thinks shes better than everyone, but I believe its a front for her insecurities because she did not go to college, herself.

And her daughter is following in her footsteps with the attitude.

I think "Mom" is mimicking her own Mothers insecurities about college and education and is encouraging her kids to leave school and not go to college so they wont be better than her.

"Mom" doesnt believe in Evolution (no surprise) and believes that our DNA is getting worse. (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!????????????)

Ive caught the entire family making comments that are not truthful and uneducated.

"Mom" says she only watches uplifting things on Tv...

When asked about the Florida shooting, they skimmed it real quick and dropped it.

So what is happening in this story, is happening a lot in life.

Generational insecurity leads to envy and hostility towards your kids becoming better than you and then you destroy their chances.

It happened generationally in my own family, but I was able to escape.

My Grandmother was poor and had to drop out of school to care for her siblings and she was insecure about this and insecure about her education and smarts and passed it onto her children and especially My Mother, who as a result of my Grandmothers harshness and contempt became a Narcissist. And although my Mother DID go on to college, she discouraged me and my sister from college and good grades, cause my Mom did NOT want her own kids to be better than her.

GENERATIONAL DESTRUCTION OF PROGRESS!

Back to the original family.

So here we have a SCIENCE denying, Christian family, headed by an insecure covertly hostile Grandmother who destroyed her daughters right to an education to better herself, who now is uneducated herself, who is now killing her kids educations and chances to move on to better lives, and each generation is becoming less intelligent than the one before them and since they were not allowed to go to after school activities, they basically stay home surrounded by misinformation and the lies of the Bible and this is how poor people stay stupid, poor and cling to their Bibles and Conservatism....

So, in several generations this family will be so uneducated, they will be hating black people, thinking the earth is flat and drinking gallons of Essiac Tea to get rid of cancer. 

Instead of breaking free of the chains of religion and embracing science and education, they have isolated themselves to prevent their own education.

Its Self Flagellation.

Its the same things conservative govt officials do to their own people.

They discourage education cause they are insecure and stupid.

Why would anyone hate education, unless they are afraid of something.

What are they afraid of?

YOU, being a freethinking autonomous educated being.

....who is better than them or doesnt need them.
