The way all religion gets introduced to children is by teaching kids that NORMAL developmental and behavioral milestones are SINS, so kids are constantly thinking THEY ARE BAD and the only thing that can save them is the church.
The church(es) do the exact same shit that the ARMY does. they tear children down, then reprogram them. BOTH Church and Army NEED to get people before their brains fully mature at age 18-26. Cause NO adult would ever volunteer to go to war...
JimBob apparently had a bad childhood and his Dad was a crook and JimBob was always poor. He probably developed a fantasy world where he could escape to at tough moments. Eventually he replaced his authentic self PERMANENTLY with the fantasy self and thus the Narcissist was born. His fantasy self is omnipotent and all knowing and zealous and pious.

Normal people, who have difficult childhoods, make an effort to NOT raise their kids the way that they were raised. JimBob did not do this. hes the same Schyster as his Father.
JimBob didnt have a great Fatherly role model, so JimBob is raising Josh to be an extension of himself. So hes hobbling Joshs future. JimBob took a normal blank canvas and filled it with dysfunction, pain, anger, and smoke and mirrors. JimBob DESTROYED JOSH FROM INFANCY!
So here we have Josh. As a baby and toddler, he had JimBob and Michelle all to himself for a few yrs. THEN the Clown Car Stargate opened and the Baby Cannons fired off and bruised Josh and he hates babies now, and thats why he watched horrible baby abuse videos.
BUT because hes the golden child he has to develop a fake image, because he needs to "keep sweet" to his parents so he doesnt lose their favor.
He is also told masturbation is EVIL.
So this is what occurs over the next decade.
And this is why hes screwed up, Duggars Did It To Him. they fucked a man up who probably would just be a standard FratBoy CAD, selling Insurance with a combover and living in the burbs.
